My good friend Pascal is busy with a Hobbit month on his blog. I thought, I give him support and here is one of the ten dwarfs of this set I want to paint. I know they are with 13 in the book, so I might do some conversion to get them complete.
As you all know between dwarfs they don't talk about tribes, but about shields. As this one has no shield, I painted him with green trousers, so he's a member of the green shields.
The pictures:
And I promised you a Christmas teaser! Well here it is. Wich historical person will ride this:
And also welcome to a new follower:

BeantwoordenVerwijderenAlexander? No, this one can't "turn left"...
BeantwoordenVerwijderenNapoleon? Too predictable. I expect more from Peter :)
Is it... Agamemnon?
Nice work ! unusual scale 1/10 !!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenwhat's going on, Peter?
I like the small Christmas teaser: very good conversion!
Thanks for the support and the mention !
Unfortunately, I don't have 13 dwarves in 28/32mm ... but if you are doing them... that's good!
(the package is on the way...)
Thanks Pascal! The scale of the dwarf is 1/72. I had this figures lying around for quiet some time now. I thought is was a good occasion starting to paint them!
VerwijderenThe Christmas teaser isn't a conversion! ;-)

Peter,of course i realise just who rode the rocking horse! I would say Remco would also know 2. I have only just this minute seen the other topic on the Forum concerning the horse, and Snow White and the Mag 7,and being very busy indeed at the time you first posted it was the reason I missed it first time around. Nice work! BB
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThanks Paul! This was before the time you were on blogger, so you don't have to apologize for being late seeing this post!
