Caesar H046 Philistine Warriors en H048 The Sea People

I really wanted to show some more figures this month so here are some unsensored pictures of two sets from Caesar. The first one are the H046 Philistine Warriors and the second one the H048 The Sea Peoples set.

Both sets are very nice sculpted and are easy to paint as they don't have to much details. I need to paint a lot more of these but this is what i have done so far. As you can see both sets go very well together and in the future I mix them up a bit more.

Some of these figures are repainted a bit to go with the others. And a close look at the pictures tells me that I have some retouches. But not now. More figures are in the finishing stage and I want to do that first. In the mean time I hope you like these.

Painted in 2022:

- 20 mm:

    - Figures: 37

    - Horses: 4

    - Cannons: 2

    - Wagons: 1

- 28 mm

    - Figures: 2

- 54 mm

    - Figures: 5

Caesar H036 WWII Chinese Army

I had some figures of this set lying around, but not enough, and with the help of a friend at Benno's Figures Forum, who sended me some extra figures so I could make three bases with these figures. This set of figures doesn't have so much details, so they painted very easely. Not all poses ofthem are presented because I didn't have them. Nevertheless this is a nice mix.

I hope you like them.

Thanks for watching and stay safe!

Caesar F109 Orc Warriors #01

Next two figures of this set. This time I used for the big chief of this set a different skin tone. It's Kislev Flesh from Games Workshop, with a sepia wash. I really like the final result, but I hink that I will do something on the eyes. Maybe not red like I did for the green skin painted figures of this set. Must have a look at that later.

Here are the pictures. I hope you like them.

I also add the first four I've painted from this set. I had a message that it wasn't possible to post comments but that is fixed now. I had some troubles with some spammers so I blocked everything. And now it seems to be working well. Previous post was: Orctober

Manufacturer: Caesar

Number: F109

Box:

Contains: 35 figures

Painted: 6

To do: 29

Stay safe!

Greetings,

Peter

Orctober!

I finally made it to paint 4 Orcs for this month. I've been painting a lot of figures the past year but didn't find the time to make decent pictures and post them here. Also because the figures that are painted are mostly for a bigger project that I would like to end next year June.

The Orcs here are painted a bit in the same style as I painted my other Orcs. These are to join the Orctober fest on Bennos Figures Forum. I hope you like them.

Hopefully my next post will follow soon!

Greetings Peter!

Surgery and....Snowwhite

One week ago I had a two hours during operation on my back, to take away a hernia which was blocking a nerve from my right leg. It was taken away succesfuly and the pain in my leg is gone now. And for the jokers amongst you, yes I still have my leg!
Bad thing is I'm not allowed to do some things. Lifting, bowing, cardriving and I can't do things long. Sitting on a chair for example, one half hour, walking, same thing, standing, same thing. The doctor said it will take eight to twelve weeks to recover completely.
Luckely my wife and sons are taking good care for me and making life very pleasant for me. So I am allowed to do some things for the hobby on the kitchen table, so I don't have to do the stairs to the man cave. Also here I must take care that I'm not sitting to long in the same position otherwise the pain in my back is to hard.
I also would like to thank everyone for the support in my previous post. It gave me warm feelings!

And here is something that started as a joke on Benno's Figures Forum. When I posted my painted dwarves over there, a joker called Gunnar, was asking where Snowwhite was hidden. That's where I started to look for a suiteble figure that could present her. And of course I found one. First I show you again the seven dwarves.

And here she is with her escort of brave little men. The figure is from the Caesar Elves set. Only modification I had to do was cutting away the pointy ears. I gave a lovely light blue dress like we all know from the Disney movie. And black hair of course.

Here you have her in close up. I hope you like the lovely lady!

And now I must see that I'm getting back on track. A tank track! Otherwise I will not get ready my contribution for the FIGZ meeting.

Caesar Dwarves 7-8-9/10

Again these are some figures that were lying around and been asking to finish them painting. Now I only have to paint one of the poses of this set, the one with the banner, but I still don't know what I would paint on it. So that one has to wait a little while before he gets the last layers of paint.

In the mean while I received some single sprues with Dwarves from Dark Allience. I will try to paint them just like I painted these from Caesar. The green colours must stay the main colours.

Here are some pictures with all nine of them together.

Now that makes a nice opponent for the Goblins and Orcs I painted earlier!

Also welcome to a new follower:
- José Rocha. I couldn't find out if you have a blog or not José. So if you have one, could you please send me a link?
