This one my zombie followers will like, I think? I made it in 2010, again for a painting competition on Benno's Figures Forum. It didn't get far, but it was fun making it anyway.
Now what have we got here?
Seems to me this man lost his head!
|
Mh, looks like a party going on! |
The platform is scratchbuild with matches. It took me some time, but I'm happy with the result. The "Executioner" is from Valdemar's VI series. The man without his head is an Esci Barbarian. The one waving with the head is from the Zvezda Medieval Peasant Army. The guards are also from Zvezda. Both from the 100 Years war infantry sets, one English and one French.
Enjoy some more pictures!
I hope you like the little scene!
Currently painting: Zvezda Vikings (6/11) and some other things.
Currently reading: W.E.B. Griffin's The Colonels

Welcome to my blog!!!!!
I dig the sword in the background...is it for just in case the axe proves a bit blunt! Also taken with the apparent frier's hair-cut, nothing I like more than a priest loosing his head!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenH
The haircut was done with the sword, before he used the axe. ;-)

Great scratch built platform...worth the time to construct, IMO.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenYou can't imagen how many sigarettes I had to smoke for this construction.

Never seen this work: I was too young in 2010!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenvery good one! a little "trash" but funny "conversion"!
Wow. Lots of work involved here. Excellent.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenLove the head on the stake!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenA very well done scene. How much time did you have involved in this one?
BeantwoordenVerwijderenNow let's see. How long did I work on that platform? It's a long time ago, but I think with the drying of the woodglue, a day or three.

BeantwoordenVerwijderen'Lovely' piece of work Peter. The scratch built platform looks spot on to me.

Great!! XD!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThat's horrible! How about a wooden warship next with cannonballs smashing through along the bloody decks?
BeantwoordenVerwijderenA warship? That are a lot of matches! :-D
VerwijderenBut it's an idea ;-D
