Revell 02558 Confederate Sharpshooter

Something quick in between. Holliday is coming near and I want to do some posts before I'll go. Am I the only the only one that when he sees a figure, he gets the feeling that he has to paint it. Well with this figure I had that feeling so I painted him.

It's a figure from the Revell Confederate Infantry set and you can see the review here. You will see that this set is a reissue from the old Accurate set.

He had some nasty mold lines, but I managed to remove almost all of them. He painted up very nice, so more will follow.

Nikolai Arab Civilians On the road

This is a set of figures I received from Michael of Germania-Figuren as a gift. The only thing I had to do is to paint them and integrade them in modern diorama. I'm still working on that, but I hope to have it finished as soon as possible.

It's set four of this range of figures. They are made from resin and they painted very well. They are sculpted by Erik Trauner from Diorama Dreamland 1/72. And I must say he did an excellent job on these. Nice details and not hard to paint.

Pity enough only one picture because the pictures of the seperate figures aren't good enough. I take some new ones as soon as possible.

VA127 Medieval Guards on Duty

This is another great set from Valdemar. These figures supposed to be on guard in a castle. Well I'm going to use them in an other way. But more about that in another post.

In the review on Plastic Soldier Review the figures are in resin, as you can see here, but the ones I've painted are made from metal. I must confess that I rather paint plastic figures, but in this case I made an exception. I just had some trouble with the spears. I didn't get them all straight. The painting went well and they are very good sculpted. The rating on PSR, with all 10's is well deserved.
