Ninja's!

For those who are wondering if I still paint figures, the answer is yes. It's just that I'm not really active on blogger but more on other places (forum and Facebook). And at this moment a bit more collecting as painting to be honest. To be specific in the scale 54 mm.

These Ninja's are simple Hong Kong made figures, but with some paint on them they don't look that bad. They came with figures that I wanted for my collection but for these I have no need. So I painted them and they will leave me for a soft price. Maybe a kid will be happy to play with these.

I've painted these black with a grey drybrush. All belts are painted in a different color. And I only had six poses.

The big fight! :-D

I hope you like them and thank you for watching. More of this kind of figures will follow, but of the Wild West this time.

Cofalu ACW Figures

Today again a before and after story. Found this figures in a big bunch of other figures and first I didn't know what brand they were. Thanks to the help of some friend on Facebook I know now that they are Cofalu toy figures. French brand.

Before I painted them I had one from the Confederation and two from the Union side. As I only have three figures I decided to paint them all as Union infantry figures. They painted really nice, also because they don't have that many details on them.

When I asked on facebook what figures it are someone made a remark on the officer about the gun and the sword. It took me some time to find out what he ment but now I know. Maybe someone else can find out what it is and give the solution in the comments.

Here are the pictures of the figures one by one so you can have a good look at them. I hope you like them.

Imex 518 Conestoga Wagon

Here is the second of three wagons that are painted and based from the Imex wagon range. The third one will be posted another time.

This wagon was bought by a second hand auction but was in bad shape and I had to rebuild it as good as possible. Here is a picture how it looked like when I started with it.

I think I can be happy with the final result of this wagon. I have seven more of these to do. Here you can see it when you get it in good shape.

Here some more pictures of the finished model. I hope you like it!

I also found a picture taken by Mr Brady, a famous photographer of that period!

Imex 513 Chuck Wagon

Finally I found some time to post something here. I painted a lot of figures but I didn't take pictures, maybe because I'm to lazy, and also because I have so many projects ongoing. I also have been busy by collecting 54 mm figures that I missed in my collection. So now I will post now and then a bit of my work.

This Imex Chuck Wagon, is one of the two wagons that are in this set. The other one is a Prairie Schooner, but that one isn't painted yet. I did some others but that will be for another post. Still have to do some work on the base. In the mean time I hope you like this one.
