Britains Hong Kong Copy - Saracen Warrior - 54 mm

This is a Saracen knight I painted some time ago after I painted a crusader knight of the same bunch of Hong Kong figures I have of this brand. The other figure:  Britains Hong Kong Crusader Knight. These figures are rather flat and maybe a bit smaller as the original figures. But they are fun to paint. I hope you like him.

Starlux (Copies) - Medieval Knights - 54 mm

I'v epainted these figures last week. I didn't want to do something special with them because these are not so good copies of the brand Starlux. I have cut away what was possible without damaging the figure. The faces I didn't touch. I use blue and yellow as main colors. Now they look a bit as Swedish Knights! 😊

Airfix WW2 Russian Infantry (Copies)

Just a quick post with these figures I've painted in between of the other projects. These twelve figures are Hong Kong copies and I've painted them in two versions. Summer and winter uniform. They look glossy because of the varnish I used. They are for sale.

Jecsan Prince Valliant (Copy)

This figure was me kindly provided by my good friend Detlef Heerbrand from Germany. The older people amongs us will remember this knight Prince Valliant from their youth . He is a bit bigger as 54 mm and not so much mouldlines as you can expect from a copy. He painted very well and I'm happy with the final result. I tried to give him the colors from the comic book.

Starlux French Foreign Legion Officer (Copy)

This time it is a Starlux copy figure I gave a better look.  The sculpting of this figure isn't that good but I tried to make the best of it. I've seen this figure in brown and green colors, but I decided to give him the blue and white uniform. It might be not historical correct but so he fits better with my other figures of the Frenc Foreign Legion of Timpo I painted. I kept it very simple and I hope you like him.

I've painted the Timpo FFL figures in this post: Timpo 9507 French Foreign Legion. I repainted their hats from blue into white, because that was a mistake I made.

And this is how this figure looked like unpainted. He looks much better now. Don't you think?

Elastolin Indian 6808 (Copy)

Another figure that I gave a new colorful live. I have tried to give him the same colors in the Elastolin catalogue. This is again a far west copy made in the far east! As always painted with acrylic colors. I hope you like him.

Hong Kong Cowboy

Just a single figure I painted in between other figures. It is a Hong Kong copy but I don't know from what brand. He looks a bit as the Airfix one but he is different. Scale is 1/32 and is painted with acrylic paints.

Elastolin Cowboy 6985 (Copy)

Here is a copy of an Elastolin Cowboy that I painted. The figure reminds me on Gary Cooper in the movie "High Noon". The Elastolin figures were figures I could only see behind glass in the toyshop when I was young. They were much to expensive for one figure, and I don't know what people pay for this kind of figures this day, but I don't think it has changed.

Anyhow it was fun painting this figure. The figure is a bit bigger as 54 mm but not that much that wouldn't go together with my other 54 mm figures. And as Always painted with acrylic paint. I hope you like him.
