Caesar H046 Philistine Warriors en H048 The Sea People

I really wanted to show some more figures this month so here are some unsensored pictures of two sets from Caesar. The first one are the H046 Philistine Warriors and the second one the H048 The Sea Peoples set.

Both sets are very nice sculpted and are easy to paint as they don't have to much details. I need to paint a lot more of these but this is what i have done so far. As you can see both sets go very well together and in the future I mix them up a bit more.

Some of these figures are repainted a bit to go with the others. And a close look at the pictures tells me that I have some retouches. But not now. More figures are in the finishing stage and I want to do that first. In the mean time I hope you like these.

Schilling AEG-17 Feeding horses for warwagons

These are some metal figures made by Schilling-figuren. They made a whole range of these Egyptian figures and I like these so much because they look so peacefull with the horses and the soldier touching the horse head. Nice to make a scene behind the battlelines. They painted up very easy and I can say there is more to come of this range. But that is for another time. In the mean time enjoy the pictures of this one.

I really hope you like them and as said there are more on the way from this range. Maeby not always peacefull but really nice figures.

Timpo 9507 French Foreign Legion

After finishing the Timpo Arabs it had no doubt that I had to paint the French Foreign Legion to. When I had a look at these I found out that only one figure didn't have some small damage. Nevertheless I decided to paint them anyway. And I find they turned out well. I choosed to paint these 54mm figures in the colors we mostly see when we talk about the French Foreign Legion. Seeing this uniform they actually need a sand colored uniform. But I like the blue and white! Here they are:

A bit blury this one, but can you see what is missing?

And here?

Part of the bajonet is missing.

Also the bajonet.

Here you can see it better.

This one is complete!

A complete bajonet.

Bajonet missing on the rifle.

On this one it is not so clear because you don't see
something broken.

Maybe some will say that I was a bit lazy because I didn't try to fix the missing parts, but I was afraid to do some more damage on the figures. Anyway, I hope you like them.
