At this time of the year I always try to paint a figure in a special way, Santa's way. This time it's a figure from the American Civil War, painted as a drummer of the Christmas regiment. I don't now from which manufacturer this figure is, so if someone recognize the figure, please let me know.

Timpo 9506 Arabs
It took me some time, but finally I could finish these Arabian warriors from Timpo. This was something new for me because I only used a wash for the skin and the gun. All other parts are painted from dark to light, by using different colors or adding a bit of white. I like the end result also after seeing the pictures. I will for sure use this technique on more figures.
I must say that these figures have very nice details. And the sculpting of the clothes helpt a lot to find out what had to be dark and what to be light. As said the brand is Timpo and the figures are 54mm high. Pity that there are only four poses. A few more would have been better.
And now I let the pictures speak for themselves.
I hope you like them, and stay save and healthy!
Now I have to paint someTimpo Foreign Legion as their opponents.
Model on!

Caesar F109 Orc Warriors #01
Next two figures of this set. This time I used for the big chief of this set a different skin tone. It's Kislev Flesh from Games Workshop, with a sepia wash. I really like the final result, but I hink that I will do something on the eyes. Maybe not red like I did for the green skin painted figures of this set. Must have a look at that later.
Here are the pictures. I hope you like them.
I also add the first four I've painted from this set. I had a message that it wasn't possible to post comments but that is fixed now. I had some troubles with some spammers so I blocked everything. And now it seems to be working well. Previous post was: Orctober

Orctober!
I finally made it to paint 4 Orcs for this month. I've been painting a lot of figures the past year but didn't find the time to make decent pictures and post them here. Also because the figures that are painted are mostly for a bigger project that I would like to end next year June.
The Orcs here are painted a bit in the same style as I painted my other Orcs. These are to join the Orctober fest on Bennos Figures Forum. I hope you like them.
Hopefully my next post will follow soon!
Greetings Peter!
