Here is another non violent figure I painted last week. As far I know Jean hoeffler made only one Indian woman in his range. It is for that a very rare figure. I was lucky to get this figure with a second hand and i reeally didn't realise that this figure was in it. I was so happy when I found her in the package that I couldn't wait to give her a layer of paint. And below you find the result.
And this is how she looked like when she arrived at my home!
I hope you like her!
Stay save and thank you for watching!
Greetings
Peter

Beautiful Peter! I really like how it turns out!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI still haven't paint those Arabs you send me...I 'll try to paint them for the AHPC this year :)
Thanks George. I'm working on the Foreign Legion Figures of Timpo but now I noticed that they all have some damage. Swords and bajonets broken and I'm not the person who can fix that, so I will paint them like they are. Result will be shown next year I think.

I have buy some of these figures before some months and I can send you the four poses if you are still interested :)
VerwijderenThank you for the offer George but I keep them like they are. I don't find it a big problem. And next year I hope to post a lot more painted figures here next year! Happy New Year to you and your family!

Hi Pieter,
BeantwoordenVerwijderenwhen my father was a child, these figures were produced in his hometown. Every week the local children checked the garbage pony for sprues the company threw away.
When I was a child, my father gave me his collection. The start of my hobby:-)
Thank you Uwe! Real nice story and a dream for every collector of toy figures. It's like us looking always for old figures to add to our collection. I think that must be the same feeling as your father had when he found something in those bags. Thanks for sharing.
